The company history
This company was founded in 1985 under the name PANA Schaumstoff GmbH, when the foam processing department was separated from a German company that had been dealing with the distribution of chemical innovations since 1949. Work begins at the location in Geretsried. A major turning point occurred in 2010 when the company’s production and storage capacities were expanded, and after the company was bought by the Reichhold family (Austrian investor SSA Europe Ges. mb H.) and since then the company has been operating under the name PANA Foamtec GmbH.
And then in 2013, the construction of a production facility in Bačka Topola began in order to efficiently supply the Eastern European market, as well as to expand the capacity of certain products. The business started in 2014 under the corporate name of SSA Pana Foamtec Ltd.
Industry standard ISO TS 16949 (now IATF 16949), the highest achievement for automotive suppliers
As one of the few foam processing companies, PANA Foamtec GmbH was awarded a certification according to the world-recognized industry standard ISO TS 16949 (now IATF 16949) in 2014, which is the highest achievement for automotive suppliers.
Two years later, Paul Reichhold became the CEO of the group consisting of PANA Foamtec GmbH and SSA Pana Foamtec Ltd., Serbia. Work was carried out on upgrading the plant in order to raise the production to a new level – Industry 4.0.
The following year, 2017, the Reichhold family became the owner of the entire group. PANA Foamtec GmbH was integrated into REICHHOLDING GmbH, which now consists of SSA Europe Ges. mb H. (technical adhesive tapes) and BOHR Schleifmittelverk (special abrasives) as well as the Serbian subsidiaries of SSA Pana Foamtec Ltd.
