How was artificial raw rubber/rubber created?
When a team led by Fritz Hofmann, working at Bayer’s laboratory in Elberfeld, Germany, in 1909, succeeded in polymerizing isoprene, the first synthetic raw rubber.
Sponge rubber
It is natural raw rubber with an open-cell structure (NR sponges), orange in color.

Polyethylene is easily recycled, and its residues can be melted down and reused.
Polyethylene sponges
Physically cross-linked polyethylene sponge with a closed-cell structure:

- thickness from 12 mm to 100 mm, available in sheets/rolls
- ideal for protective packaging, e.g. TV, computer, electronic or medical devices, when transporting furniture or glass
- it is used in construction as a cost effective sound and thermal insulation, vibration dampener
- standard colors are available: white, gray, red, yellow, and blue. Other colors available on request
Polyurethane sponges
PUR sponges with an open-cell structure based on polyester:

PUR sponge foams based on polyether, with an open-cell structure
- weight: 17 - 75 kg/m³
- temperature durability: from -40°C to +120°C
- available in self-extinguishing (SE) and fire-resistant (FR) versions

- resistant to moisture and water
- availability in the form of plates, rolls or tapes
- a cost-effective solution
- plates available with a pyramidal surface and in the shape of eggs, used for the enhancement of soundproofing

- due to the aforementioned properties, PU sponge foam based on polyester is suitable for the auto industry, electronics, construction industry, furniture industry, as well as for other industrial areas where cheap solutions are required

PU sponge foam impregnated with acrylate, based on ether with an open-cell structure

- special property: water resistance, oil resistance and does not let in air and dust when compressed to 60–70% of the initial area
- widely used in the auto industry, in the major appliances industry, in the field of metal processing and in the production of PVC windows

Composite sponge foam, PU sponge with open-cell structure, produced from recycled PU sponge foam
- weight: 80 - 200 kg/m³
- temperature durability: from -40°C to +120°C
- in thickness from 2 mm to 200 mm in plates (without multiple lamination), tapes, die-cut products, as desired and self-adhesive
- excellent soundproofing and for vibration damping
- a cost-effective solution
- due to the mentioned properties, it is used in auto industry, elements for shock absorption, filling grouts, seat upholstery, wall joints
EVA foam
Types of EVA sponges with a closed-cell structure is available in thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 35 mm. Areas of use:
- spacers or gaskets, for insulation from water and dust in many industrial areas
- suitable for floors in schools
Melamine sponges
Melamine sponge foam with an open-cell structure has a temperature stability of up to +200°C and excellent sound absorption. Complies with US FMVSS 302 auto industry guidelines and EU RoHS 2002/95/EC guidelines.

Packaging
We produce foils and profiles for packaging made of polyethylene sponges, as well as insulation for pipes, regardless of whether the pipes are copper, steel, plastic, solar or hydraulic, HVAC-systems of household appliances and water pipes.
- packaging foils are made from extruded polyethylene sponge film with closed-cells, and are available in the form of hoses, sacks and tapes, in various sizes and shapes according to the customer’s wishes
- packaging profiles are produced from extruded polyethylene with closed-cells, and standard shapes are offered (L-profiles, U-profiles, G-profiles, glass bottle profiles and other special profiles)
